Goldschlagprojects- a new beginning 

 

“For me, contemporary jewelry has always been a form of expression. In my earlier work, I consciously moved beyond traditional ideas of what jewelry should be, exploring new materials, unconventional techniques, and conceptual approaches. I was interested in creating pieces that could be worn, but that also carried meaning — reflecting personal experiences as well as social and cultural questions. My jewelry was never meant to be purely decorative; it was a way to communicate, to question, and to express identity and creativity.”

What is new is that the jewelry now emerges from watercolors, which I transform into forms meant to be worn. My artwork begins with a regulary morning ritual in order to connect my immediate feelings and everydaylife impressions in those difficult times: painting with watercolor allows me to captures my feelings fast. Spontaneous drawings become a starting point for my contemporary jewelry. Bricolage technical approach, assembling different elements feels closer to the expressive line of a drawing.
